Miss Lim Hui Min graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B Hons) from Multimedia University in 2018. She completed her pupillage and was admitted as Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in July 2019.
During her pupillage, she was assigned under the conveyancing & litigation department to expose and learn not only in conveyancing area but also in litigation area whereas she had been assigned by the firm on the following tasks:-
Preparation of Schedule H & Deed of Mutual Covenants for developer project
Preparation of loan documentation for developer project
Attending signing of agreements independently
Drafting of court cause papers
Attending to court case management & assisting Partners in preparation of court hearing and trial
Following her admission, her focus area includes the following:-
Corporate practice including but not limited to drafting of various corporate agreements, preparation of legal due diligence report for IPO at Australia & etc.
Criminal litigation including but not limited to Anti Money Laundering (“AMLA”), custom dispute, murder, raping & etc
Corporate litigation
Banking litigation
Family disputes including but not limited to joint petition, single petition, contentious & non contentious probate matter
Labour Employment disputes
Running down litigation i.e. acting for insurance company in various contentious running down matter

Enforcement/Execution proceedings
Her responsibilities includes the following:-
Representing clients in complex, high stakes disputes across both civil and criminal courts in Malaysia. Regularly appear at all levels of the Malaysian courts right to the Apex Court of Malaysia, the Court of Appeal and Federal Court. She has also appeared in the Industrial Court handling cases on wrongful termination.
Meet clients to provide advice, clarify their issues, prepare legal opinion and draft cause papers accordingly.
Conduct court proceeding including case management, hearings, trials and appeals.
Familiar with the rules which may include High Court rules, Court of Appeal rules, Federal Court rules & etc.
Other than being a lawyer, she also holds a secretary certificate issued by Companies Commission Malaysia permitted under the Bar Council Malaysia to act as Company Secretary for company where she not only serves as company secretary for various company but by acting as their company secretary, she also acts as their legal advisor which may save costs for the company in appointing another legal advisor for the company.
