Miss Tan Jie Xi read law at the University of the West of England, Bristol and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 2021. She subsequently completed the Barrister Training Course (BTC) in 2022 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn in November 2022.
Prior to commencing her pupillage, she gained exposure in litigation matters as a Litigation Paralegal in the United Kingdom, particularly in personal injury and motor injury claims.
She thereafter returned to Malaysia and commenced her pupillage at Messrs. Tan Norizan & Associates in 2024, where she gained practical exposure in conveyancing and property-related matters.
Upon completion of her pupillage, she was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2025.
She is presently engaged in: –
- Conveyancing and property-related matters – including the handling of sale and purchase transactions and transfer documentation;
- Banking and loan documentation – including the preparation of financing documents for property transactions and liaising with financial institutions.
