Miss Debora Raveena Henry graduated from Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) in the year of 2020. She then went on to complete her Barrister Training Course and her Master of Laws (Hons) at BPP University (Leeds), United Kingdom simultaneously wherein she graduated with a Distinction in 2022. She was subsequently called to the Bar of England and Wales and is a Barrister of Law in the Honourable Society of Inner Temple.
Subsequently after completing her pupillage at Messrs. Anad & Noraini, she was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on the 2nd of November 2023. During her pupillage, she had the opportunity to assist her firm with several general litigation matters, primarily Banking Litigation, Insurance litigation, Personal Injury and Medical Negligence claims, Probate matters as well as Conveyancing, Corporate and Commercial matters.
Whilst she primarily trained in civil litigation, she has decided to delve deeper into the area of Conveyancing, Corporate and Commercial matters and commenced her first year of practice at Messrs. K H Ong & Ng in June 2024 as a Legal Associate. She is currently handling general conveyancing matters which include sale and purchase transactions and preparation of charges and transfers for both conventional and Islamic banking for retail and commercial loans.
