What’s the Difference Between a Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration?

Grant of Probate – Issued by the court when the deceased left a valid will and an executor is named. The executor has legal authority to manage and distribute the estate according to the will.

Letters of Administration – Required when the deceased did not leave a valid will (intestate). The court appoints an administrator, usually a close family member, to handle the estate. We assist families in applying for either process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and smooth administration of the estate.
